Munro Compleatists

Those who complete (compleat!) the Munros can record this fact and receive the magic number by writing in to The Clerk of The List (See here). Additionally, a list of current compleaters is published annually in the SMC Journal.

This image has been merged from four originals, see notes below for captions.

Pamela Bridge & Iain Milne - 1841 & 1842
Fionn Bheinn - 7th September 1997

The summit party: from left to right: Back Row: Sandra Murray, Irene Milne, Linda Cartmell, Joe Bridge, Colin Middler, Mary Middler, Glyn Mitchell. Front Row: Robert Bruce, Pam Bridge, Stan Cartmell (2165), Stephen Murray and the Bearded collies Islay & Jura. Taking the photo Nick Mitchell who with his wife Glyn were the reason this journey began in August 1990.

Wet but happy, on Munro No. 277 (see below)

Pamela writes: I also attach another photo as, after Iain & I completed 277 Munros, the goalposts changed and the numbers increased to 284. We had already climbed all of the additional 'new' Munros with the exception of An Stuc. We therefore had a 2nd last Munro day on 8 August 1998. Those present on another dreich day were from left Pam Bridge, David Neil (Completing his first three Munros), Mary Middler, Iain Milne and Colin Middler.

I am now more that half way through the 221 Corbetts, the first of which was Goat Fell on 26 June 1990.
